Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Datorix (the "Service"), available at datorix.app. By creating an account you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Jakub Vondra, a private individual based in the Czech Republic ("we", "us"). You can contact us at hello@datorix.app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. The Service

Datorix lets you connect to third-party APIs, process the data they return in configurable steps (filtering, limiting, transforming) and export the result as files, manually or on a schedule.

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce paid plans in the future. We will never charge you without your explicit agreement, and we will tell you in advance if a feature you use becomes paid.

4. Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep your email address up to date.
• Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Tell us without delay at hello@datorix.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Third-party APIs and your data

• You may only connect APIs and access data you are entitled to use. You are responsible for complying with the terms, rate limits and licences of the APIs you connect.
• Credentials you enter (API keys, tokens, passwords) are stored encrypted and are used only to make the requests you configure. Prefer credentials with the minimum permissions you need.
• You keep all rights to the data you fetch and export. You grant us only the permissions needed to run the Service for you (fetching, processing and storing it as described in the Privacy Policy).
• If the data you process contains personal data of other people, you are responsible for having a legal basis to process it. We process such data only on your instructions in order to provide the Service.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, or to collect data in breach of a third party's terms or rights;
• overload, attack or disrupt the Service or the APIs you connect, or circumvent rate limits or security measures;
• access other users' accounts or data;
• create accounts automatically or in bulk, or resell access to the Service.

7. Availability and export files

The Service is under active development and is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it running, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change.

Generated export files are deleted automatically 7 days after they are created. Download and keep your own copies of anything you need.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, loss of profit, or damages caused by third-party APIs or services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

9. Suspension and termination

• You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account yourself in your Profile. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
• We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or put the Service or others at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you first.
• We may discontinue the Service. If we do, we will give you reasonable notice to export your data.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you continue using the Service after that, the updated Terms apply.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of mandatory laws of the country where you live.
